Privacy Policy
This explains what Nexus Screener ("Nexus", "we") collects at nexusscreener.pro and in the installed app, why, and your choices. We don't sell your personal information and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a user ID from Firebase Authentication (Google or email/password sign-in), whether your email is verified, and when the account was created. Passwords are handled by Firebase; we never see them.
- What you save: your watchlist, price alert levels, saved scans, alert settings (including quiet hours and time zone), trade journal entries and notes.
- Alerts: push notification subscriptions for your devices (an address issued by your browser's push service), a Discord webhook address if you connect one, and the alerts sent to you in the last 7 days (so you can see them in the app).
- Subscription: your Stripe customer ID and subscription status (plan, trial and renewal dates). Card and payment details are entered on Stripe's pages and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Signals (Pro): which version of the Signals acknowledgment you accepted and when, and which setups you get signal notifications for. The signal log itself contains market data only, nothing about you.
- Referrals: your invite code, who invited you (if anyone) and referral credits earned.
- Usage totals: daily counts of events such as visits, sign-ups and features used. These are totals only, with no user ID, IP address or cookie attached.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Google Cloud) records technical request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
On your device
The app keeps some things in your browser's local storage: your watchlist when signed out, display preferences, chart settings, an invite code from a link, and a marker so a visit counts once a day. Firebase keeps your sign-in session in browser storage. The installed app caches its own files so it opens quickly; it doesn't cache market or account data.
How we use it
- To run Nexus: sign-in, syncing your watchlist and settings across devices, sending the alerts you ask for, and your journal and scans.
- To handle subscriptions, trials and referral credits.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to understand overall usage (from the daily totals).
- To reply when you contact us.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run Nexus for us, for that purpose:
- Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, sign-in and database (in the United States).
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Push services (such as Apple, Google and Mozilla): to deliver notifications to your devices. They receive the notification content.
- Discord: only if you connect a webhook; your alerts are posted to that channel.
Market data providers receive requests for stock data, not your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account record, watchlist, alerts, scans and journal from our database and deletes your sign-in, and closes your Stripe customer record (which cancels any subscription). Stripe keeps payment records as financial law requires, and server logs expire on our hosting provider's schedule.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data or delete your account from the Account tab at any time.
- Turn alerts off per device, per type, or disconnect Discord, on the Account tab.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your data. Email us and we'll help.
Children
Nexus is for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, keys and secrets are kept server-side, and only our server can read or write the database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change; the date above shows the latest version.
